Any individual or legal entity can become a member of the FIG by acquiring partnership shares of the cooperative.
The FIG’s membership includes individuals, foundations and public institutions wishing to sustain our work.
Furthermore, any entity wishing to obtain a FIG’s guarantee must become a member. Those partnership shares will then help to cover a part of the risk in the event that a guarantee issued in their favour is called.
The FIG’s members can participate in the strategic decisions of the cooperative by voting at the FIG General Assembly.
At present, FIG has 103 partners, among which 43 organizations in the South which detain 43 % of the capital of shares, amounting to CHF 1,503’600 at the end of 2016.
