Our Mission
FIG helps the world's most disadvantaged people obtain credit.Just as MFIs and agricultural cooperatives allow small entrepreneurs to fulfil their dreams of economic independence, FIG in turn nurtures small and medium MFIs and cooperatives to reach financial independence. FIG's activities in Africa and Latin America have incubated 53 MFIs and helped hundreds of thousands of disadvantaged entrepreneurs become self-employed.
